2009  VCHS JV Football – Ends in tie for 1st place

What a great season it was for the Junior Varsity Football Vikings as they finished the year with a 7-3 record and a first place tie in BFAL league play.  With all three phases of the game working well together – that is Offense, Defense and Special Teams, we look forward to  and are excited about what the future holds for this football program.   All of the staff associated with VCHS Football were proud of not only how much the JV team improved as the season went on, but the manner in which the players conducted themselves as student athletes and servants of Jesus Christ.

Also of note, several JV players finished the year helping  to support the Varsity’s unprecedented run in the NCS Playoffs…each making significant contributions to their teams successful run all the way to the Semi-Finals!

 We are looking forward to 2010 as we focus on continuously improving the program all while honoring Him in all we do, on and off the field of play.
