Maxx Comes to Our Weight Room
We are so excited to add the Maxx to our weight room, our Strength coaches Mark Fox and Omar Taovil are excited to train our lineman year round ! We are the first school high school or college to have one in California!

What does it do ? Read below, taken from the companies web page:
Improve Reaction Time
How many off-sides or false start penalties did your team have last year? With MAXX your players will learn patience. As they wait for the signal of the snap they will focus on the job that needs to be done and being in a stance will become second nature since they will have the opportunity to spend their off-season in a football stance.
Practice Leverage
Your players will learn the importance of leverage and maintaining a good football position throughout the block. The development of Speed and Power means so much in today's game, but when you combine speed and power with proper technique and the use of leverage your players will go above and beyond your expectations.
Leg Power and Balance
You preach" finish" to your players all the time. A good punch and first couple of steps will equal a 2 yard gain... a good finish equals a touchdown! As your players drive against a constantly increasing weight they will condition their arms, legs and core for dominance on the field next season.

Idaho wasn't the only school talking to Harris, but they were probably the most aggressive from beginning to end. Idaho tightends coach Al Pupunu, a nine year NFL veteran with the San Diego Chargers, ran recruiting point for the Vandals.
"Cam has had Utah, San Jose State, and Army all out here. Nevada showed interest. He's had quite a few schools display interest, but he fell in love with Idaho and that was it."
